The AXIES maintains partnerships with overseas institutions relevant to its purpose of establishment and their international organizations. 1) EDUCAUSE (http://www.educause.edu/) The EDUCAUSE is an organization in the U.S. promoting ICT within higher education institutions and has maintained a close partnership with the AXIES since the latter’s establishment. Members from the EDUCAUSE are invited to deliver a keynote speech at AXIES’s annual conferences and the AXIES organizes an event (AXIES@EDUCAUSE) at EDUCAUSE’s annual conferences. 2) CHEITA (http://www.cheita.org/) The Coalition of Higher Education Information Technology Associations (CHEITA) was established in 2011 by organizations promoting ICT within higher education institutions in various countries. The AXIES is one of its founding members.
